What is a Session?

A "session" is a gathering of men and women to hear the words of a prominent community leader, on a topic of contemporary importance, and on the application of Judeo-Christian principles to daily life, as a family member, professional, and citizen.

Jessica Hooten Wilson

Jessica Hooten Wilson is an associate professor at John Brown University. She is the author of three books including the Christianity Today 2017 Book of the Year in Arts and Culture, Giving the Devil His Due: Demonic Authority in Flannery O’Connor and Fyodor Dostoevsky. She has been a Fulbright Fellow to the Czech Republic, received an NEH summer stipend to study Dante in Florence, and a fellow at the Biola University Center for Christian Thought, funded by the Templeton Religious Trust. In 2017 she received the Emerging Public Intellectual Award, and in 2018 she was a finalist for the Heitt Prize in the Humanities.
